China Import Formula by Brendan Elias worthbuying?

Hi guys,

i stumbled upon the China Import Formula chinaimportformula(dot)com What do you guys think about that? Is it worth buying or is that another one of those guru programs? I want to sell on ebay thats why i find that interesting..

generally if the guru had any real secrets, he’d be doing it himself rather than writing a book about it
Don’t waste your time
Don’t waste your money
You never know. I mean, it’s not easy to import from China successfully, without having a connection directly there… Maybe the guy can offer something worth knowing.

I checked out the website, and the guy is running free seminars where he tries to sell you $2000 systems. Sounds like the classic real estate guru thing but just transposed into chinese importing.

all the real cheap stuff is moving away from china anyways. China isn’t the rock bottom cheap place to do business anymore.

For $2000 you might as well spend that money to pay your next few month’s rent and do your own research and homework. Importing isn’t new on the web anymore. Its filled with all info you need.

the search for easy way to make money continues…

the guy is a true genius , with his programs you can make a million a month , why would you want to pass this opportunity!

It’s actually $5000 not $2000 from what I can gather. Brendan Elias is a bankrupted importer now selling a method that should make you filthy rich (sarcasm intended).

save your money.. so many free resources out there. I can tell you how to import from China for FREE
I am a newbies so I cannot post links. But anyone should do a Google search on “brendan elias clair squared” and must read all the comments on that page. Shocking!

If you still want to attend the free events, be sure that you are the kind of person who can handle high pressure selling tactics.

That’s the whole point of the “free” seminars. He’ll just feed you bullcrap about how much you’ll make if you pay for his system and try to brow beat you into paying for it. There are professional event holders who do nothing but organize these things for different gurus.

The comments on clair squared’s blog have all been deleted (still visible on google cache (for now) or waybackmachine). I can only see one explanation: the blogger got bullied or bought off by Brendan Elias.

Anyway, stay clear from China Import Formula. It’s a scam pure and simple.

China Import Formula appears to be a get rich quick scam – but I believe the only one getting rich is him. Brendan Elias is twice bankrupt, he seemed to have done some importing, apparently liquidated his business went things went bad, looks like he owed a lot of people a lot of money (check EBay record and comments for electronicsurpluswarehouse).

The really disappointing thing is the law does not actively pursue people that present factual errors, outright lies and omissions in public sales presentations in order to gain peoples trust and take their money. I went to this session twice (3 years apart) – my opinion was I counted 30 mistakes, lies and industry myths he claims as his own.

I thought one of the most disgraceful – huge profit you would make on importing guitars, but ommitted all the major shipping and clearances costs for this very bulky and delicate product. His mentor keeps changing too – is used to be his dad, now it is a mystery ‘uncle’ with no last name. He has added a John Grisham like ‘saved my innocent mate from being prosecuted’ story, even though he admits he never sat (or failed) his bar exam after doing a law degree. Add 27 more of these and you get the drift. The biggest falsehood is his opening “I am not a good public speaker, but I am a great importer”. I believe he is a gifted actor and speaker with an uncanny ability to manipulate the emotions of his audience (envy, pity and lots of greed), and there is no evidence that he ever succeeded at importing (if he did why is he doing this?)

If you have found this page, and considering signing on with him, here is what to do:
1. Don’t sign anything
2. Get help from credible providers that offer value for money and actually have real experience

If you do sign on and inevitably want your $5000 back:
1. Get his recorded video session, write down the lies and factual oversights
2. Send the video and your summary to the Office of Fair Trading in your home state, or direct to the ACCC (in Australia)
**If you make it easy for the authorities, and present a logical argument, and they receive more and more of these, they have to do something.

The government needs to step in to the unregulated training sector and stamp out this behaviour, many good people lose money they often don’t have because they have momentarily trusted someone, that does not have the right to say what they do.

Good luck! I will get off my soapbox, everything I have said is my opinion only.

Few of the comments (that have now been deleted on Clairsquared’s blog) mentioned the 3 days paid boot-camp now ends with another sales pitch where Brendan Elias tries to sell a range of services costing up to US$ 50,000.
People were told they will get a one on one chat with a mentor about their business plan as part of the boot-camp program. But the chat was only about selling those new packages.

This is how it was setup in the USA last month. Not sure if he’s now going to do the same in Australia.

Yes Brendan Elias’ China Import Formula scam seems to have spawned some wannabe ‘import guru’ competitors, all claiming to be millionaire importers, although none of them seem to have any experience or background other than what they tell you.

Two of them are well known players that have progressed from other similar scams (EBay and Real Estate get rich quick schemes). First is Import Secrets by Matt and Amanda Clarkson. There are pages of complaints of them on complaintsboard website for their Bidding Buzz EBay rort – they have now magically found out they are importers, and first try to charge $4k for an import manual and then $20k for their special import package. They also do the pushy sales seminar, make some intriguing claims about their wealth from importing and drag poor souls in who start trusting their lives will get better if they hand over cash.

The second guy is even more horrific – Peter S*n with Import Export Exposed (he pays big money to have Google to take down any negative feedback and does SEO on all scam related keywords with his name (Ben2221 – maybe why Clairsquared blog comments were taken down??). One of his videos, he helped someone make millions because he told them – wait for it – “don’t import that product, it has asbestos” – genius. That is the sort of nonsense these players pedal to win your trust.

The best thing anyone can do is to start dobbing these guys in. Register an actual complaint with the authorities. If everyone that was ripped off complained to the Office of Fair Trading in their state and ACCC with evidence (recorded sales pitches/phone calls, detailing the omissions and misrepresentations), eventually the ACCC will start cracking down and stop them.

Brendan Elias is just another con artist jew. Always trying to deceive you. No wonder the Germans wanted them out of Germany.

Brendan Elias managed to get Google Australia to remove this page from search results. (Still can be found on the US UK or NZ version of Google)
He’s doing everything he can for the truth to remain buried.
